Nogbad the Bad
Presuming the Rising Sun, Coopers, Robins, Avon Packet, and Coronation will be showing it in BS3. Not certain they're all Sky though. Any others? Further afield The Penny on Whiteladies Rd., and the Black Swan, W-O-T. are both are advertising it. Nogbad the Bad
Happened to be in Bradford on Avon for the Sheff. Utd match and watched it at the Rising Sun on Winsley Road. A number of local City fans were in there, good pub with excellent beer if you're in the area.

Calculus
Dolphin in Oldland Common is very good and the landlord is a long established City fan. Good Chinese take out and fish and chip shops with 100 yards also.

Marina's Rolls Royce
My house. Free cider, dancing girls at half time & all the Monster Munch you can eat. I'm considering coming round to your gaff, Sir Colby What make of cider are you serving? If I get blind drunk- will you protect me from the dancing girls? What flavour Monster Munch? And is there parking for the RR? Let me know asap cos it's a toss up between you and Kachina's Christmas secret signings party- and I've got a lot I need to say to Mickey. I'm afraid no one is safe from these particular dancing girls. Pickled onion flavour of course. RR can park his arse in the driving seat of the Gash minibus. Again. Calculus
Usually a karaoke on a friday isn't it ? They've got a couple of rooms so I imagine it will be on in one of them although you've worried me. That said 50 City fans doing their own special version of Daydream Believer in the karaoke does seem attractive...

Calculus
Anybody why the club doesn't open the DEH for nights like this? Am sure they could make a few quid. Maybe it's a licence thing. Would hope when the new stands with their sports bars open we could be doing this...

Never can be absolutely certain which pubs will have it on....... or what the atmosphere and the clientele will be like if they do. I'd probably have gone to the DEH tonight if they were showing it, always a good atmosphere in the past.

That's succinct and fairly persuasive RP, as I'm struggling to be decisive that's definitely a contender.

Well, cheers for that RP. I legged it over to Hotwells, arriving just after 7.30. Only to be told by the barmaid the City match wasn't being screened as they'd switched to BT. A mad dash to the Robins followed, but still missed the first 5 minutes. I'll forgive you though, the 85 mins I did see was so good (and the Doom Bar could have been alot worse) I can hardly be in a bad mood. Up the City.
