cider-manc
I realise this is of no use to most but as other seem to be starting threads... Just thought I'd put this up in case there are any others about who fancy it. A few of us North west based City (could be anything between 3 and 10....but probably 3!) are going to be watching the game here tonight: http://www.thegreenmanchester.com/ It's just on the edge of the northern quarter and less than 5 minutes from Piccadilly station. cider-manc
+2 - Curry nearby first then in. COYR Any recommendations for a reliable Ruby in the centre? Cheers To be honest I have never been for a curry in the city centre- always headed out a bit further to Rusholme and curry mile. Akbars is meant to be pretty good (my mate claims its the best) but that is down Deansgate locks way on Liverpool Road by the MOSI. There are a couple of curry houses on Portland street but as I say I have never been in either of them.

grifty
I watched a City game in the Sports bar at Piccadilly station once in my City shirt and 2 guys came up and started chatting and they were City fans too. I saw a Gashead at uni as well in his shirt during the day. Walked past him in a busy corridor and trod on his foot. Serves him right.
