Nogbad the Bad
Sammi Hyppia has just resigned as Brighton manager, I guess Sam will want to wait and see who is appointed and how it affects his involvement in the squad now? It's likely to improve his situation there and quash any talk of a loan move in January. A new manager will want to access his squad and give them all an opportunity to impress. It will be a clean slate for all Brighton's players. When an under fire manager of a struggling team signs a new striker for fairly big money it can be his final throw of the dice to maintain his position so he's putting huge faith in the signing to hit the ground running and score the goals to help secure his job. In Hyppia's case the gamble of signing a 3rd division striker clearly didn't work and SB's lack of impact will no doubt be a major disappointment to him, as well as to the Brighton fans.
