BTRFTG Posted January 6, 2015 Report Share Posted January 6, 2015 If Smith rated 10 what would he had received had he converted the other 7 chances he didn't finish? 4th was a cracker, 2nd great, if somewhat odd looking, finish - did he grow 6 inches when in the air? Good performance all round save for 10 minutes first half when we slightly turned off. Midfield excellent with some quality I nterplay, Cunningham really put in a shift and the defence held up when needed - which was more often than it should have been. Very glad Flint ran off what looked like a worrying knock. Let's not go overboard however as few sides will allow us to get that many decent crosses into their box. We also need a striker with pace and finish to provide an option upfront. Interesting conundrum for Saturday as to which 2 to start up front? Williams 7 - thought he was at fault for their first. Flint 8 - made a few mistakes but what a leader to carry on after a knock to the knee. Love that man so much. #nohomo Ayling 7 - played well but nothing special. Cunningham 8 - did well and was a constant threat with great delivery. Wagstaff 8 - the man is an absolute machine. Smith 8 - quiet game by his standard, but broke everything up well. Pack 7 - lost the ball a few times but did ok. Freeman 8 - was everywhere, a pocket rocket. JET 9 - his best game for soooo long.
