Bristol Sport Ban Fanzines At Ashton Gate

You can actually hear the club - or whoever they push out the door to confront the maelstrom - saying, when confronted with the fact that they officially sanctioned and co-operated with a fanzine called ULTRA in the recent past (FACT! as my mate Malcolm used to say, they A-Oked [and more] the selling of, production of and content of ULTRA), "Yeah, but that was 20 years ago."

Cos ULTRAS then, in the 90s, were tea-sipping, yoga-practising, crochet-knitting luvvies who welcomed families and away fans with gladioli and garlands of herbs... Not like today's ULTRAS who apparently all hang out in Dresden.
