WhistleHappy
Packed in like sardines then, no probs as long as they tow the line. Their team will be done up like kippers later on.. Old habits die hard, expect them to arrive at the Gate well before kickoff, none of 'em will want to miss the exciting bit when the officials inspect the nets. PS.. Hope everyone behaves today and are condimentory we don't want any a salt and battering charges. Quote Link to comment
Nogbad the Bad
Resting Jet and Freeman on the same day? Quote Link to comment
havanatopia
Oh I say, First Class Stamp sir! Well spotted and corrected ETR.. Hope Havana appreciates your gentle shoeing. Oh he does sir. JET dropped? Odd decision... but in Cotts we trust. Freeman injured or just knackered? Quote Link to comment
Roger Red Hat
Resting Jet and Freeman on the same day? Hmmmmm, interesting. Quote Link to comment
Wanderingred
#BristolCity v Fleetwood Town: Fielding, Little, Bryan, Ayling, Flint, Williams, K.Smith, Saville, Elliott, M.Smith, Agard. Why no Freeman I wonder? Quote Link to comment
WhistleHappy
Hoping for a good three points today... thinking a decent 2-0 win for the City. Anyone know if we'll be on Catch Of The Day 2 at all? Quote Link to comment
BCFC Jordan
No JET or Freeman significantly harms our chances of getting a result. Quote Link to comment
Kid in the Riot
#BristolCity v Fleetwood Town: Fielding, Little, Bryan, Ayling, Flint, Williams, K.Smith, Saville, Elliott, M.Smith, Agard. Team is lacking some creativity without JET or Freeman Quote Link to comment
Fordy62
I have complete trust in Cotts, but boy am I not happy with that. Quote Link to comment
Alex_BCFC
Bit worried about that line-up...no Freeman or JET... Quote Link to comment
AshtonGreat
No JET or Freeman significantly harms our chances of getting a result. Agreed. Altho that's still a cracking side Quote Link to comment
cityexile
Not liking that! Assume it is forced on us somehow, but its ironic with Agard back that neither JET or Freeman will be there to play balls through. Midfield looks 'workmanlike' and Agard cannot be 100% match fit yet. Feel up front with no cover for the past few weeks we have been riding our luck (very well...) and hope it falls our way again today! Quote Link to comment
Nogbad the Bad
Looks like a goalless war of attrition for the first hour, Jet and Freeman brought on at 65 minutes, City run out 3-0 winners. A day not to worry too much if you miss the first 10 minutes perhaps. Quote Link to comment
Aizoon
We're all doomed Mr Cotterill. Doomed I tells ye Quote Link to comment
WhistleHappy
Oh he does sir. JET dropped? Odd decision... but in Cotts we trust. Freeman injured or just knackered? With two top players missing how lucky are we to be able to look at a team that looks as strong as that! ... Remembering we have Wilbs to return at some stage too.. We're in pretty good shape, could do with one decent loanee to take Smiths place next month and it all looks pretty good eh? ..we don't have to rely on one or two class acts, the whole lot are realiable. It'll be different today, but don't think panic is in order.. We'll be OK its a good bunch of lads out there... Maybe not as comfy as we'd like but with what's out on the pitch today,, most L1 managers would bite yer arm off to have. COYR's.. Edited February 1, 2015 by WhistleHappy Quote Link to comment

formerly known as ivan
I like it. Giving them a rest but they are there if needed Quote Link to comment
Esmond Million's Bung
Just a thought here, but perhaps JET and Freeman are carrying knocks and of course if SC played them and they then picked up long term injuries, then the same people complaining about this team selection, would complain about that as well, sometimes I feel the bloke just can't win. YorkshireSection
Very worrying line up, starting Agard & dropping Jet & Freeman is an odd one. There's a destinct lack of creativity in that side, I think we will struggle. Quote Link to comment

Not complaining, just a bit mystified. No doubt Cotts. has good reasons but as a paying fan I'm disappointed neither of these 2 talents will be on display from the off. Quote Link to comment

Don't get me wrong, there might be very sound reasons why this is the right decision, and not being critical of Cotts. That is different from saying it is still somewhat disappointing, and a little worrying at this stage, that neither are able to take a place in the starting eleven. I would be very surprised if they were all 100% fit that this would be Cotts's choice. Edited February 1, 2015 by cityexile Quote Link to comment

samo II
At least they're on the bench. Perhaps this will free up Elliot from breaking up play and give him more licence to range forward like he did last year. Can understand after the exertions of the last month that some players need rests. 1 Quote Link to comment
I Am A Cider Drinker
So wade Elliott isn't creative? And can't play a through ball? Is that what people are saying? Quote Link to comment
Ben4BCFC
Two months ago, when JET wasn't getting a start, the only real change to this lineup would have been no Freeman. Agard is back, a much more natural goalscorer than Smith (IMO) and he's been out long enough. If he wasn't ready, Cotts wouldn't have brought him back in. Cotts has had three teams in mind the last week and said it hasn't changed. He also said this is the most important game. He knows what he's doing and has had this organised for the while. There's a reason we're in the position we are this year, and it's not necessarily Freeman. It's Cotterill. Let's get behind the boys. COYR! Quote Link to comment

Robin 101
I think it may give Korey Smith a bit of freedom to go forward as he did to great effect at Cheltenham. As said before they can come on if needed Quote Link to comment
cityexile
So wade Elliott isn't creative? And can't play a through ball? Is that what people are saying? Fair comment. Was surprised, but lets hope we can get an early goal and push on. The big plus is Agard is back. Quote Link to comment
ChippenhamRed
Chill out everyone. Cotts will have his reasons for not playing Jet or Freeman today - likely they need a break - but he still has the option to bring them on if it's not working.
