The Official Bristol City V Fleetwood Town Match Day Thread.

Packed in like sardines then, no probs as long as they tow the line.

Their team will be done up like kippers later on..

Old habits die hard, expect them to arrive at the Gate well before kickoff, none of 'em will want to miss the exciting bit when the officials inspect the nets.

PS.. Hope everyone behaves today and are condimentory we don't want any a salt and battering charges.

Not liking that!

Assume it is forced on us somehow, but its ironic with Agard back that neither JET or Freeman will be there to play balls through. Midfield looks 'workmanlike' and Agard cannot be 100% match fit yet.

Feel up front with no cover for the past few weeks we have been riding our luck (very well...) and hope it falls our way again today!

Oh he does sir.

JET dropped? Odd decision... but in Cotts we trust. Freeman injured or just knackered?

With two top players missing how lucky are we to be able to look at a team that looks as strong as that! ... Remembering we have Wilbs to return at some stage too.. We're in pretty good shape, could do with one decent loanee to take Smiths place next month and it all looks pretty good eh? ..we don't have to rely on one or two class acts, the whole lot are realiable.

It'll be different today, but don't think panic is in order.. We'll be OK its a good bunch of lads out there... Maybe not as comfy as we'd like but with what's out on the pitch today,, most L1 managers would bite yer arm off to have.

COYR's..

Just a thought here, but perhaps JET and Freeman are carrying knocks and of course if SC played them and they then picked up long term injuries, then the same people complaining about this team selection, would complain about that as well, sometimes I feel the bloke just can't win.

Not complaining, just a bit mystified.

No doubt Cotts. has good reasons but as a paying fan I'm disappointed neither of these 2 talents will be on display from the off.

Don't get me wrong, there might be very sound reasons why this is the right decision, and not being critical of Cotts. That is different from saying it is still somewhat disappointing, and a little worrying at this stage, that neither are able to take a place in the starting eleven. I would be very surprised if they were all 100% fit that this would be Cotts's choice.

Two months ago, when JET wasn't getting a start, the only real change to this lineup would have been no Freeman. Agard is back, a much more natural goalscorer than Smith (IMO) and he's been out long enough. If he wasn't ready, Cotts wouldn't have brought him back in.

Cotts has had three teams in mind the last week and said it hasn't changed. He also said this is the most important game.

He knows what he's doing and has had this organised for the while. There's a reason we're in the position we are this year, and it's not necessarily Freeman.

It's Cotterill. Let's get behind the boys. COYR!
