BCFC@Frome
So Forest are now under a full transfer embargo after failing make a payment on their club-record signing Britt Assombalonga. What's the point after they were given a huge chunk of money to make transfers, which fortunately the football league had already set up a loop hole to get around their own rules. Also it comes 24 hours after the window closes.
Monkeh
But is in place for twelve months and included the loan window, so forest can't make any signing til the 2016/17 (bar normal rules about number of players etc)

(Sorry I had a quick google but I'm at work and can't find time to read it all!)

Monkeh
Bigger than Barca? the FL didn't punish Barca, UEFA did, as its the FL dealing with it expect them to be weak and crumble

Monkeh
We should follow their example this summer and sign a player for millions, then default on paying off the bill just six months later; considering they can still sign loan players of the quality of Todd Kane while doing so, am sure it wouldn't be a problem, especially if he contributes as much as Britt has. Seeing as Forest would be the second lowest scorers in that division without that lad's strikes, and that without his goals and assists they'd most certainly be in the relegation zone right now, placing them under a ban when the window has closed seems a little pointless. And speaking of points; will certainly cause a stir if Assombalonga's goals win them the points needed to avoid relegation/get into the play-offs. With all these 'big' clubs bending and breaking the rules, it beg the question; what's the point of the rules at all? maybe they need to bring a rule in, if the club default on a payment for a player said play can not play and will have his registration suspended until said club has paid the outstanding payment,

But then in this case it is Peterborough vs Forest, so you know which way the old guard in charge would lean.
