Rob k
Is it the biggest support away this season ? Cambridge had 6k at Man United the other night, league wise it has to be up there, I can't think of many other grounds which could accomadate that figure
B-Rizzle
To be fair, a lot of the premier league ones are probably a bit false. Most of the clubs with big fan bases sell out their allocations each week. E.g. Man U could have sold way more than 3000 at WH but that was probably all they got allocated. Having said that, it's still a great effort for a lg1 club to top the list comfortably! Well done everyone!
ChippenhamRed
As Robbo says above, at Premier League level the figures are more a reflection of the size of the allocation rather than the level of support. We benefited from having a virtually unlimited allocation at a relatively local ground, and a hugely important fixture. However it was still a great achievement and a day to be very proud of our club. One to remember!
ChippenhamRed
Is it the biggest support away this season ? Both Emirates and Old Trafford have an away allocation of 3,000 which (presumably) is the biggest in the Premier League, so at the very least it will have beaten any away following in the top division. Rovers at Woking was probably bigger though...
Numero Uno
Is it the biggest support away this season ? No, Leeds at Blackburn.

So for the Prem where a lot sell out, they stick to that share. MK on the other hand have a 30,500 stadium with an average home gate of about 8,500 and are therefore very pleased to let away teams have what they can sell. Thus next season there will be many away games with an allocation of around 2,500.
cityexile
Using the same logic, Man Utd must have had a fair few at MK earlier in the year. Still, a great effort.

They would have had quite a few, but MK sold that game out so the away allocation wouldn't have been as big.

slartibartfast
Top Away Followings in England this weekend: 1st: Bristol City ( 5,109) 2nd: Crystal Palace (3,267) 3rd: Birmingham City (3,177) Yeah !
cider-manc
The Prem teams all sell out their allocations. Liverpool could have taken 40,000+ to goodison for a derby across the park from their own stadium if the tickets were available. However isn't this at least the second time we've top this chart this season? Very impressive for a league one outfit which if the media are to be believed arent from a "football city".
