Bar BS3
Just out of interest, I've had a look on their site and twitter feed but can't find any updates on how numbers sold are going for them so far. Anyone know anything about how they are doing with their initial 20k allocation..?

I saw people were queing for 7 hours plus for their tickets and on first day of sales they stopped people joining the que after 1pm because of the time taken to process sales. Why on earth would you queue for 7 hours for a game that won't sell out?

Mad Cyril
There will be plenty of people trying to be first online or first in the queue at city too...people want to choose where they sit rather than settle for the scraps. If you only go to one game every five years you may as well pick a nice seat.

Dont worry, its your close proximity to Swindle that does it, sell up and move to Chipping Sodbury, the fallout doesnt reach that far :laughcont:
BlokeCDP
Apologies, seems I had my sarcasm-o-meter set to 11 last night. Why's that? Cos 11 is more sarcastic then 10?

Rocky
I also wondered why Walsall fans were queuing in the cold from 3am to get tickets when they won't sell anywhere near 39k? Funny seeing all these frozen fans on sky sports news the other day.
ChippenhamRed
I would only guess you would queue so that you could ensure you got a ticket on the lower tier But their tickets are also available online. Queuing for 7 hours in the internet age just doesn't make any sense. Also, given how much cheaper top tier tickets are I would imagine plenty of people will choose to sit there. To be honest, with it being their first ever time at Wembley, I think it's all part of the romance (sounds silly, I know) to que for hours to get your hands on tickets. Makes it all a bit more of an event, if you know what I mean. I remember queing around Ashton Gate for hours in the past and it's all part of the occasion for a big match. True, when we last went to Wembley we were 90 minutes from the Premiership, a different scenario. Still expect a large following though
