Why Have We Not Pulled Out Yet... Eh Fa

Welcome To The Jungle

Imagine the outcry if it transpired that we were using migrant labour "owned" by the construction company, paid a pittance, not allowed to leave the City and forced to live in squalid conditions to build our stadium - modern day slavery if you like.

Kick It Out would be in full cry and there would be calls for us to be thrown out of the League or deducted 30 points or our tv money to be witheld. And the FA would jump on the bandwagon and make sure action was taken. In addition Players, Managers and Owners are (rightly) taken to task for any misdemeanour that smacks of supporting or condoning inequality by our "principled" FA and we have Boards of Directors refusing to travel to another club tonight because it is owned and managed by "racists" in their opinion.

But when there's a place in a World Cup to be played for in front of billions of people, in a mega rich country who have an appalling human rights record and clearly supporting a regime under it's trade laws that is tantamount to slavery, the principles they fight so hard to maintain in the domestic game seem to go out of the window. And you can bet that the suits at the FA will be in Quatar and so would the Cardiff Directors if their tin pot outfit qualified and, likewise, Mr Tan with a huge smile on his publicity seeking face if Malaysia did the same.

Should never have been put there in the first place, they are not a World Footballing country and the climate is not suitable for it and that's beside their record of abuse of human rights.   Once again backhanders and brown envelopes are the only reason it was placed there , FIFA need to be investigated and if nothing is changed,  all the European footballing countries need to boycott the 2022 World Cup.

My opinion for what it's worth, you reap what you sow.

The Premier league and all the top leagues in Europe (UEFA) are swilling with Arab money.

They have all been more than happy to accept the money, but are now complaining about Qatar having the WC,hypocrites the lot of them.
