With the size of the gate and commercial spin off's, I'm guessing it should be a tidy sum to augment the transfer budget for next season..... cider-manc Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 I think I read somewhere that including previous rounds the prize fund adds up to somewhere between 100 to 200, 000 so not a massive amount. But the big money would be made from the gate receipts of the final... not sure how much that would work out as from a 72k crowd but would be considerably more than last years final. We should accept it and being good neighbours we could donate it to the hard-up non-league club up the road ..... Their supporters deserve a bit of excitement for a change, they'd be thrilled to have an opportunity to watch paint dry instead if the usual boring dross they normally have to put up with.
