Roadrunner
Interesting piece in the Southampton Echo today. Would love to think last week was the start of City's rise to the edge of the Champions league. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/11886216.Hammond__JPT_was_catalyst_for_Southampton_success/

BS4 on Tour...
Southampton's rise was phenomenal, as was Swansea's - to emulate their blueprints for success should be our aim. Doesn't help that Southampton have an academy in Bath though, nicking all the best players in the area

ChippenhamRed
Southampton's rise was phenomenal, as was Swansea's - to emulate their blueprints for success should be our aim. Doesn't help that Southampton have an academy in Bath though, nicking all the best players in the area I follow Swansea - they are my second team after my time at University there. I used to watch them in front of 3k crowds at the old Vetch, and back then the prospect of them reaching the Premier League and winning the League Cup within 10 years was ridiculous. We are already in a much better position in every sense than they were back then, and they are pretty much the perfect blueprint for what this club has the potential to achieve.
