Big Red Rich
Cotterill will be the first manager since Gary Johnson in 2008/2009 to manage both the first and last games of the season. Incredible stat I think!

Super
The board should be ashamed of that, shocking shocking stat. Not of getting rid of them appointing them in the first place. Clearly they all deserved to be sacked.

ChippenhamRed
The board should be ashamed of that, shocking shocking stat. Easy to blame the board for everything. In the cases of McInnes and O'Driscoll, they appointed managers who this forum broadly approved, after sacking managers who most of us wanted rid of at the time. Perhaps we should also give them some credit for appointing Cotterill despite the broad disapproval of the supporters?

ANY managerial appointment is a risk and far more fail than succeed. Had the changes not been made, we may still be trying to get out of league TWO, rather than on the verge of the championship with a Wembley win already under our belts. SC couldn't have worked out much better for us, but had he lost his first 3 games things could have been very different. This season has been beyond anyone's hopes or expectations, so well done to everyone concerned for that.

BS4 on Tour...
Wot a shocking stat! Isn't it the case that only four of the ninety two managers have been in their current role for four years or more?! Wenger (Woolwich), Tisdale (Exeter), Robinson (MK) and Smith (Walsall)? As much was said by various posters around the time of our relegation and broadly shouted down, but this is spot on.

havanatopia
whoa whoa whoa... hang on hang on hang on... Johnston Paint leaves, Tinpot comes in to steady the ship - Johnston Paint leaves because of alleged bust up in the dressing room? we should have stuck in my opinion. 2010-11 - Tins stands aside for CopperTinOut; CopperTinOut walks, Tins takes over full time..and keeps us safe that season. 2011-12 - Tins messes up Mc'ins comes in and saves us from the drop. 2012 -13 - Mc'ins messes up O'Drizzl comes in but cannot save us from the drop 2013 -14 - O'Drizzl messes up and the new Messiah comes in and we finish 12th. 2014 -15 - we get promoted as Champions. The only 'mistake' at that time was Johnson leaving. All others we had no choice imho.
