Kingswoodactor
For me he hasn't been at his best now for a while, and getting booked today very early on didn't exactly help either, especially when playing as a centre mid. Hopefully these the games against Swindle & Preston will get him really up for it, as when he's playing at an 8/10 or higher, it really makes a difference to the whole team's performance. Tiredness is probably an issue as well. It's been a hell of a long season for them all!
Frenchay Red
I think he does better alongside Wade, but Marlon brings a more defensive dimension to the team. At this stage of the season it's better to draw rather than lose going all out for the win.
Northern Red
Neither he or Pack were very good today, we looked a lot better when Wade came on. The booking he got was a joke though, especially compared to how the game was refereed afterwards.
coxyboy
Agree think he has been terrific all season but last 3 or 4 games not been affective. Hope is back to his best Tuesday

slartibartfast
As mentioned, his game was spoiled by that ridiculous booking early doors (not even a foul IMHO) He was treading a tightrope from there on as his game is based on aggression and tackling , thanks ref ! simon uk
Elliott had been looking tired before his little break, with the small squad, and playing twice a week, the aches and pains and concentration must be suffering by now.
HoldenBall
Said this in another thread. He's not as influential as he once was in recent months. He might need a break. He has played every single game after all

Always 100% and what a transformation to our midfield, Korey and Luke F have made. Both will enjoy their summer holidays by chilling out!
slartibartfast
I think throwing the ball away after swayed the refs decision. And the crowd, against their former skipper probably put the tin hat on it !
italian dave
I know I was in a minority of one yesterday but I thought he deserved the booking. Their guy was going past him: he'd pushed the ball forward, Smith was never going to get there before him, and he deliberately ran across him to stop his run onto the ball. I'd have been screaming for a card if that had happened to Joe Bryan!
wayne allisons tongues
I thought booking was harsh, smith was quicker than their player and got to the ball first. How was he supposed to control the ball when he got there?
Aaron-Bcfc
Never a booking. The referee had rightly turned down their protest of a penalty for exactly the same thing a few minutes earlier
