League One Top 10

Ayling, Bryan, Flint and Freeman are all in the League One top 10 players!

This was announced on the Twittery https://twitter.com/SkyBetLeague1

That BCFC have 4 out of the 10, including two of our ever present defenders, really shows how far we've come since autumn 2013.

Personally I think Flint and Freeman should have both been a bit higher.  It's also a shame that yet again K Smith goes unrecognised.

Still, yet more success!

I'm confused. This was voted for by the very same Managers who have complained all season that we "bought" the league by going out and acquiring all the best players. So shouldn't we taking the top eleven places?

And in the case of Flint bought 24 months ago and Bryan was an academy player.

See a similarity here with the 1999 player of the year awards:  bearing in mind that Manchester United won the treble, playing some fairly spectacular stuff along the way and not losing a game in any competition after Christmas, David Ginola won the PFA and Footballer Writers' awards.

Consensus seems to be that so many United players shone that season, votes were split across the board and Ginola won, with Spurs finishing mid-table and winning the League Cup.

Excellent point and something I certainly hadn't considered. Think you're probably on to something there.

You have a hell of a memory.
