slartibartfast
Yep, people need to be reminded that there were OTHER football related tragedies .
Bar BS3
I only recently saw the footage of the Bradford fire. What spine chilling, horrific scenes they were. This will be immaculately observed at every ground across the country and quite rightly so. RIP the 56.
Welcome To The Jungle
The bit of video where the guy walks onto the pitch, completely engulfed by flames. Tragic.
slartibartfast
The bit of video where the guy walks onto the pitch, completely engulfed by flames. Tragic. I watched it once, that was enough, never again. I do believe that poor chap actually survived.
Lew-T
Just to think that these people only went to watch a football match. Sad, sad time. RIP

Big Red Rich
I'm sure he died of a result of people hitting him? I've watched this video a few times when training to be a fire warden at my old work, just horrific. The other video shown was one from a nightclub in the states, just as awful. Rip. finbarr_in_z
People don't have to be told do they. Unfortunately there's always one. With the subsequent 'shush-ing' escalating the disruption.
MarcusX
Iv always been aware of the fire but never watched the footage, I just have for the first time and have a few issues with it! Why are the Bradford fans still changing and singing like nothing's happened? I get it was their promotion party but surely that's in bad taste? What sort of Neanderthals jump around in front of a camera while that's going on behind them? Why did the commentator continue to commentate on what was happening? Some of the things he was saying were a little unnecessary? I guess in this day and age the cameras would probably be cut, I can't imagine that being broadcasted nowadays

I guess in this day and age the cameras would probably be cut, I can't imagine that being broadcasted nowadays Probably because in 1985 it was the first disaster for a long time (Ibrox was 1971) and those lads leaping arround probably couldn't comprahend that people could go to a football match & not come home. That's why we should never forget these things.

MarcusX
There's a big fire in one of your stands, regardless of how bad it actually became - that's pretty serious to start with. Just struck me as odd that the rest of the ground just didn't seem to care
