JoeAman08
Local TV stations broadcast all kinds of local things over there. ESPN airs the Little League World Series every summer. Which is baseball with 11-12 year olds. That's national TV. High school sports also get aired(14-18 year olds). Indoor soccer and Lacrosse leagues as well. Basically, at the local level, there is usually some kind of TV camera there.

JoeAman08
It can be a good moment for the kids but wonder kids get too much credit too fast and it leads to complacency and poor attitudes along with the high expectations. Rarely do these hyped up kids do well in a professional career. The most relevant to the world would be Freddy Adu. So it's good for the normal kids but sometimes matches are aired just for one or two kids and expectations go through the roof. In a sense they feel like they've already made it. Don't think you get that as much here.
