redysteadygo1 Posted August 4, 2015 Report Share Posted August 4, 2015 When I first started supporting City as an 8 year old, in 1956, the cost of entry to the Open End was one shilling (5p ) and as far as I remember remained at this level until I started playing for my local boys club team on Saturday afternoons in 1960. At this time my pocket money was 3d a day ( 1.25p ). So it cost me 4 days pocket money or 57% of my weekly allowance. How much does the average under 13 child now get for weekly pocket money and what percentage of a weeks pocket money needs to be spent on the cheapest entry to watch City?
