Goals Yesterday

So having just seen the goals, firstly Freeman and Ayling were both brilliant in the build for our first goal and a great finish from Kodjia.

Their first goal Flint appeared to be asleep/ball watching/out of position, followed by a poor parry by Hamer in days of old that was a bog standard catch for a goalkeeper

Their 2nd goal Pack had 3 opportunities to close the the guy/cross down, never ever got close enough, in fact he looked confused.

Bryan look tired for their 3rd.

Williams was a weak as piss for their 4th, he has to be much stronger.

All simply my opinion

PS:- Definite red for Freeman.

Agree with most of what you say. Big positive is that the old codger has got himself into a Championship mindset in the first half. Could have had another goal and showed that he can be strong as well as quick and skillfull when he took on 2 or 3 defenders in one effort. Rather have him any day over some William Large-Nuts attitude merchant from the Premiership. Could see the Codge working well with Agard when Kieran fully fit again.

Agree about us being dozy, weak and slow for their goals. Hope Aden can get himself moving more quickly and it looks like he's in a sulk, like he used to be with Fielding, in the season before last. Not sure yet about Hamer. Maybe they are all seriously missing Frankie.

We are half a yard off it the pace at the moment which must be confusing and confidence-sapping for young players who literally walked League 1.

It's explicable that someone who I thought was quick-witted could get a Red card in that way.

Cotterill really has to earn his money now.

Exactly this is when we will learn more about the man.

Basically all 4 goals were avoidable, with better defending.
