CiderCraig
2 goals for Wales U21 tonight. Credit to the lad.Albeit versus Luxembourg, it can't do his confidence any harm!

EmersonsRed
Must have a chance of going to the euros This.If he plays regularly for us this season and performs, he'll be there and pushing Bale for his place!!
Guest
Must have a chance of going to the euros I think so too, if only as a threat off the bench for his pace. If they're chasing a game or a defender or two is on a yellow card he could be a useful option.
cidered abroad
He was included in some early summer training sessions by the Welsh manager, Coleman so could well be on the verge of a full cap.

Shtanley
Anyone know what position he played for Wales, right wing or up fron?He was number 9 and normally plays up top so I'd say striker

reddogkev
Good to see Wes Burns getting more praise / plaudits. Wasn't too long ago that a fair few people were saying he'd be no good for us this year.If Wales do reach the Euro's, then Burns is going to have to fight hard this season to grab a slot, which is good news for us! pongo88
For his career to develop, I think he needs to be consistently played in one position. He's had the odd match for City as a central striker, but Cotts seems to believe his best position is on the wing. As a winger, with City's formation, he's only going to get on the pitch as a sub, unless he develops as a wing back.
Admin phantom Posted September 5, 2015 Admin Share Posted September 5, 2015 Never understand why Wales play Burns as an out and out striker but at City he never gets the chance to?
Frenchay Red
Never understand why Wales play Burns as an out and out striker but at City he never gets the chance to?He did play as a striker up at @ 'Nam in the tinpot cup game last season. Scored a good header but then missed a few easier chances.Good to see him progressing though.
