John Galley
What has happened to Agard, he has been on the bench for the last two games but not used when we have been behind and his pace could have caused problems. He played again for 45 minutes for the under 21's, so is he over his injury or is there something else that I am missing?
Negan
Yep a weird decision not to use him again... Then again ever since Cotterill's been here his choice of subs have always been odd. Really want to see Kodjia and Agard start. Frustrating that Cotterill hasn't tried it yet.
GrahamC
Be interesting to see what happens on Tuesday, for the first time today our bench looked strong enough and it must cross Cotterill's mind to use Agard from the start at Preston? BCFC Jordan
Wasn't his biggest fan last year (not that he did a bad job) but needs to be featuring now that JET has gone and Wilbs is struggling. Would like to see him and Kodjia together. Very strange that he hasn't featured at all since the Leeds game.
Alex_BCFC
Not a great fan of his but more useful than Wilbraham right now I think who looks way off the pace.
Frenchay Red
Wilbs was not that effective today. Didn't hold it up much, and flick ons to Kodjia not working either. Got to be worth trying KA alongside JK. We need more pace up front I reckon.
rjt87
wilbs has been poor all season. he was dreadful today. either swap him for agard, or play reid alongside freeman.

red mist
Cotts probably thinks Wilbs can't play 2 games in a week with a short break and Agard not quite fit enough for the two games either. I expect we will see more of the latter on Tuesday
Donkeeebles
I wouldn't criticise giving him a go in place of Wilbs but if we're pinning our hopes on him then we're in more trouble than I thought.
Strictly Obi
I think he helps us to defend, by closing down opposition players. Surely, for this reason alone he should be back in the side.

I want a centre forward to play because of his ability to cause the other team problems not because of what he gives us defensively. I guess this was why I was a big Jet fan while others weren't

Donkeeebles
we don't have a problem with scoring though! but if you're playing a striker just because of his ability to defend we soon will have.
Strictly Obi
but if you're playing a striker just because of his ability to defend we soon will have. lets just stick with Wibs then, that seems to be working well for the team! Or we could try Agard, hopefully continue to score as we are at present. And potentially concede fewer. I know which I would prefer.

Sarcasm.......brilliant I said I wouldn't criticise him for playing Agard however if it's simply to improve us defensively as you implied then I think that's wrong. If that's the reason stick Wagstaff in and have an extra midfielder, he will run all day. If Agards a better striker then play him, if he's simply a better defender then something's wrong.Cheers
Strictly Obi
Yes somethings wrong alright. We can't defend for toffee! Just think the way Agard closes down the opposition might help. Hopefully the defence will improve, the more they play together anyway.

It puts pressure on their defenders which means more giving the ball away and opportunities to turn the ball over in their half which is where a lot of goals are scored from.
