Agree pricing and match dat experience was decent.

Home fans though. Wow, so bad

Think id be the same if I was a fan of theirs. A truly horrible area surely only rivalled by Millwall and the stadium despite being quite modern is dire. Just soo cold and soo bland. I remember going there on a tuesday night once and it just feels very dark and dirty. The home areas might be slighty better but doubt it. Whats with the odd design of having to walk up the steps to the concourse. The empty space at the bottom feels very eerie.

But staff and stewards were very friendly which considering where they live and the environment they are working is a truly a credit to them. Despite the large following the queues were also very manageable and they had shelfs and CHIPS!!

Must add how greatful I am of the rebuild AG and the quality put into it. We could have had what brum have got!

Hey steady on - yes the Old Den was horrible and the new one is literally next to a tip (industrial estate and an actual tip), but within a few streets the area is fine, actually the closest I've found to South Bristol in London: community, down to earth, lots of well looked after Victorian terraced housing, apart from the odd drug addict you could transplant a Lower Clifton-ite and they would think they were in Southville. The Den is just the same as if we played on the trading estate down by the Malago. A back yard to a "proper" area.

East Birmingham is horrible but St Andrews is surely not as bad as Wolverhampton or Luton. I haven't been there for a few years and thought the Millennium Point area on the way to the ground (for those that went North of Digbeth High Street) was pretty nice. That whole area used to be a disaster. It looks pretty good to me now. Woodman pub was a great spot.

i must apoligise if that is the case. I have only been to 'wall once and was escorted in and out so only saw the area immediately next to the ground. But with Brum yday I had a good walk and drive around the local area and it was pretty dire. The only thing I liked was Big Johns drive thru restaurant.

Have to agree with the comments about he home fans, truly dreadful. Probably the worst set of supporters I've ever come across - total lack of support and atmosphere in the home stands.

Had to laugh at the announcer who optimisticly asked the crowd to be the twelve man and get behind the team for the second half. If they can't make any noise when they are playing well imagine what it must have been like when Bournemouth beat them 8-0 at home last season
