devoncider
The Rose U20s play the Leek/Daffodil/Sheep U20s at the Gate next spring, and I know that way back in 1908 AG hosted the full international home championship match between England and Wales in front of a record crowd. My dissertation is linked to this, and as a very very long shot, is there anyone's Grandfathers/grandmothers or parents who witnessed this game in 1908? Are there any stories and tales of the crowd, the fog and the match itself? I appreciate this is very much a shot in the dark but if anyone knows anything at all about this game from a spectator's point of view I'd love to hear.
