Just a thought but if we could attract a DOF who had appropriate experience and connections at the right level, would it be a positive move?

Arry Redknapp comes to mind as an example and he's worked with Cott's before...

Thoughts?

You talk about arry and appropriate connections at the right level. Mr lansdown has confirmed that we are to be looking at the better players of league one.

so that being the case what experience and contacts does arry have that we can use?

So Keith Burt doesn't have the appropriate experience and connections?

Well, if we're talking absolutely anyone, regardless whether they might be interested - someone like Glenn Hoddle would be good at a DOF role.

Why?  He works on the TV and hasn't managed in years.  He's therefore not dealt with Agents or other clubs for a similar amount of time and has no experience in the role.  Redknapp used him in a similar role to McClaren and SC at QPR.  He strikes me as being a football purist as opposed to someone dealing with all the bs you get with agents etc.
