LondonBristolian
Sorry if this is already picked up in the Bennett thread and I missed it but am I right in thinking: 1. you are allowed 4 standard loans per season (not including 1 - 3 month emergency loans?) 2. We'd loaned 4 players - Baker, Moore, Robinson and Bennett 3. If we'd signed Bennett, that then means he's seen as a permanent and no longer counts as a loan. meaning we could loan more one person in? 4. Given we haven't, any signings we make in January have to be permanent or we have to wait until the emergency loan window opens?
bristolcitysweden
Discussed yesterday. 1) Correct 2) Only Baker and Hamer are season long loans (Robinson to young to be counted and Moore signed on the 1st of September). We can have two season longs loans but then need to sign permenent deals if we don't want to rely on emergency loans once the window closes. exAtyeoMax
is it possible to loan someone in 'minutes' instead of months?

The Dolman Pragmatist
Am I the only one on here that gets irritated by the use of the verb 'to loan' meaning 'to get a footballer in on loan'? 'To loan' - to allow one of our players to go to another club temporarily 'To borrow' - to take in a player temporarily from another club Ok, yes, it's probably just me! A Horse With No Name
I hate the term "loan" anyway. It smacks of cheating to me. Much rather it was termed "short term deal" or "one month contract" or suchlike.
