Fantastic

Il leave my thoughts on the game till later.

I just wanted to say how proud I am and what a fantastic atmosphere we put on today. 5,300 is a great feat and one not many clubs would match.

Certainly made a difference I think!

Gutted and proud.

Fans sounded fantastic, and ar least had a lot more to shout about than I thought likely. Unlike in league games, thought Cotts was thnking he was prepared to take a risk in bringing Agard and Burns on, and it so vety nearly woked.

WBA paid us the courtesy of playing a strong side, and without the fear of the table we have had a right good go.

Fantastic.

Churlishly I wonder how we might have done using Wes and/or Agard more as impact subs (rather than use up time subs right at the end)  more often this season. In ten minutes sounded like they had a big effect today, and, o so nearly, did it for us.

Wes deserves some serious game time now, nothing to lose...

Have to agree, whether he starts or not his pace can be a real asset last 20-30 mins against tiring defences.

I think we have all been thinking this for most of the season; let's hope Cotts relents now.

Bringing Wes and Agard on at the same time really gives the opposition defence something to think about.

Pleased for Wes, came on and made something happen with his pace for the second...

Lift for all of us including the boy and @djb6162

I had 5 live on today and everytime they went to the game they mentioned the size of the support and the noise that was being made, the comentater at the Eastleigh v Bolton mentioned our support when our game was talked about and the noise after we went 2-1 up sounded incredible on the radio, well done to all that went, fantastic effort.

Absolutely cracking, lots of people standing, loud throughout and the goals felt absolutely great, especially our second. It was nice to forget the league for an afternoon

I went to MK last season which many say was a good atmosphere but today was significantly better for me.

I feel at the hour mark of most games it's crying out for Wes, send balls into the channel and let the boy run! Fingers crossed he'll be utilised more often and with longer left.

Couldn't agree more, but Cotts is reluctant to take Wilbs off. Not so much for his attacking threat but for his defensive abilities.

He said as much in the post match interview on RB.

Perhaps he should think about converting Wilbs to a CB! It worked for Dion Dublin.

Final 15 mins or so, take off a WB, drop Wilbs into a back 4 and bring on Wes. Sorted!

From what I can see of the second goal, Wes just blasts past the full back. His pace is exceptional and he will often be up against defenders who are knackered, been booked or whatever so using him in his best position (IMO) as an impact sub for MORE than five minutes gets a definite yes from me. On a heavy pitch like yesterday, where the full back`s had most of the game having Mark Little run at him, it`s a no brainer. As far as the defensive argument re Wilbs goes, from what I`ve seen Wes can head a ball as good as anyone so as long as he knows when to track back/defend no problem. If we want to leave someone up for the break, let it be Keiran as he`s just as good an option.
