Pitch Invaders today

Anyone know what happens to those who run on the pitch after a goal, or try to run on?  Two of our fans hauled out when we equalised made it 2-2. Seemed to take about 30 police and stewards to subdue our second one. What was their fan trying to achieve? Did he want to take on all 5298 of us?  Seems a strange thing to want to do as I thought this is the sort of thing that leads to a life ban.

Our support really was fantastic today. Best atmosphere for a long time. Apart from the hundred or so in the corner their support was terrible.

I always enjoy your slightly off the wall posts KM. Took me a bit longer than usual to work that one out.

The stand to the right as we looked out. They started to think about getting a bit nawty and aggressive.......once the big line of police and stewards positioned themselves in the middle.

Was in seat 4 on that side of the stand. Was an unbelievable atmosphere. One I'm sure will stay with my teenage son for his whole life.

I was excited as the next guy but stop going on the pitch. You miss the rest of the game, stuck in Birmingham for a bit while whatever is sorted, and it's not the best look with a bunch of police carrying you out. A poor older steward slipped and was visibly in pain walking off. Yea it's his job but it is unavoidable.

Did seem a bit pointless running on today, sadly those that did will now be getting banning orders.

Not sure if anyone else was close enough, but when the WBA lad stopped, the cringe on his face was priceless as he was expecting to get hurt. No idea why the stewards felt the need to rugby tackle him when he was waiting to walk off, the elder steward seemedseemed to hurt himself as a result

The young city lad could easily have reached his "intended" destination of the WBA fans, but you could visibly notice him slowing down waiting to get collared and escorted out

I bet his mum's fuming with him now mind, his clothes must be filthy after being smashed to the ground by the stewards - although I think one of them put their back out during all the excitement. Was great entertainment.

Not sure what our second fan got chucked out for though, seemed to take ages for the stewards to manage to sort him out

Ha ha, I noticed that too.  He was all Billy Big Balls taunting us, and then I thought he was gonna cry as he realised his destiny.  Hilarious.

I thought I had some video of the other fan being carried out like they were gonna give him 'the bumps'.  That was funny too.

The steward did seem to have trouble getting up, looked like he put his back out or something. Saw it clearly as I was right in line with him.
