Now then Academy and Under 21 players, coaches & staff..... by the sounds of things the majority of you have got what you wanted. 

If I was SL, I'd hold a meeting and tell them straight. Get your ******* acts together or you'll be the next out the door. 

Personally, I think they're as much use as a chocolate teapot. From Year 2 of the setting up The Academy I've held this view (along with the likes of AshtonYate) and nothing has happened to change my mind. Far better investing in a decent scouting system of lower leagues and a selected few foreign countries. Hungry players, fighters and winners, who are keen to prove their worth and make more than decent living. 

Prove me wrong though lads. I'd luv it, really luv it.

Joe, Bobby and Wes - you're the system flagships (and given the investment over a decade + what a pitiful output) - go out and destroy Middlesborough on Saturday for us pals and then keep doing it for the rest of the season.
