He came within seconds of getting The Bees promoted to the Championship and he laid all the foundations for Warburton to take them on. When they did get promotion at the end of the season during which Rosler left, long-serving player Kevin O'Connor paid tribute to him at the end of the season, saying "Uwe got the ball rolling.
