maxjak Posted January 24, 2016 Report Share Posted January 24, 2016 Channel 5's successful bid to cover Championship and Division 1 & 2 Football highlights has ruined any pleasure and entertainment for fans of lower league football. I can't be bothered or motivated to put a timing to what percentage of the show has been sacrificed on the altar of consumer trailers, but it seems almost fifty percent of the time is used up trying to sell us all sorts of crap. Its only bearable to watch if its recorded, which allows you to fast forward through all the dross. The BBC's coverage was professional and and entertaining and blissfully ad free………I would even be prepared to tolerate the meanderings of Steve Claridge if Auntie could reclaim their lost programme.
