Lord Lucan's Death Certificate

I read that Lord Lucan's death certificate has been issued at last.

City fans with very long memories may remember that a news item on 'Not The Nine O Clock News' back in or around 1979, read by Mel Smith, was "Late news: Lord Lucan has been found. He's been playing centre-forward for Bristol City".  This was in our Division One days, of course.

I've checked and it was 1980.  I believe Joe Royle was our centre forward at the time and we weren't scoring many goals...

Furrymuff.

Thought it was when were on the slide down.

Funny program though, the Constable Savage sketch still makes me laugh.

Sadly, it was indeed at the start of the slide down!

NTNOCN was genius though, wasn't it. The birth of modern alternative comedy.

Very funny but of course untrue.

Offer was accepted for Lucan but he didn't want to come.
