bs20ciderarmy
When Fielding is back fit can you see him getting straight back into the team. For me, it's now O'donell's to lose. Franky hasn't really put a foot wrong this season but with a keeper coming in that commands his box and good with his feet you see frankies weaknesses quite easy! Either her way it's a nice feeling knowing you now have two keepers competing
BRISTOL86
On what I've seen ROD is a much better bet. I haven't felt so confident in a keeper for ages, if he has that effect on the fans over Fielding you can only imagine how the players feel! I like FF as a person and he's always 100% effort, but inspire confidence he does not!
Slack Bladder
Ooooooooooooh Donnell Ooooooooooooh Donnell He's the new Basso!!
nickolas
O'donnell by a mile no question. Commands every inch of his box giving the defence confidence. FF however troubles the first aid men more with nose bleeds by moving any further than his 6yd line!
Full nelson
O Donnell is by far the better keeper! Commands the box very well, makes good decisions, his kicking is better, gets a stronger hand to the ball, just as good a shot stopper as FF. Thanks frank but you'll be looking from your nice comfy sub seats next season.

fatchers
O'donell is the keeper we've needed all season. All goalkeepers are good shot stoppers,if they're not, then they are not a goalkeeper. End of. What makes a very good keeper is his ability in the air and his handling of the ball along with his distribution. O'donell brings the confidence to the defence that is needed when under pressure. I like Frankie but its O'donell in every department for me.
Shtanley
ROD without a doubt, for me sell FF in the summer and get a younger keeper in. Loan out O'Leary if possible as I think he could improve a lot in future.
Carey 6
Just gave Fielding a new deal in the summer didn't we? O'Donnell has looked alright but think many are getting carried away. Give it a few more games & see how he gets on. His save against Brum was a great save but i don't think I've seen him make another save before that game. Not too sure who I'd prefer, but O'Donnell has done nothing wrong as of yet to deserve being dropped once Franks back.

Smokey
I don't think Fielding is anywhere near good enough, O'Donnell is better in every department
Offside
I've got nothing against Fielding but I think O'Donnell definitely deserves to keep his place.
Londoner
Let's hope ROD doesn't turn into an Elliott parish situation.
Guest
ROD. His command of the area is phenomenal, as is his confidence and conviction. Whether he's a shot stopper remains to be seen, but the save against Brum and the quick return to his feet to collect a ball - palmed safely away - was very impressive indeed. mightyreds89
Blimey this is pretty unanimous isn't it! Not one Fielding shout, I'm also in the ROD camp.
Major Isewater
More importantly Pemberton rates ROD. So far i prefer him to Frankie , who is a good lad but not as commanding as a keeper .
Bazooka Joe
For me Frankie O'Donnell just shades it over Richy Fielding.
BigAl&Toby
Said as much after his debut. O'Donnell is the far better keeper. In every respect. Fielding will only play again if O'Donnell is unavailable. And thank Christ for that.
Ivorguy
Think the majority agree then that we again have a goalie that doesn't panic us every time the ball comes near our penalty area I still can't believe FF once sat on the bench for England
