Lansdown mentioned Lee Johnson had been considering offers from premiership clubs.

Anybody have any ideas who this may be?

At a guess, I could see him fitting in with Rogers at Liverpool before he got the bullet. Same philosophy on the game etc etc. Then SOD got the job. Not seen the Lansdown interview, so presume it wasn't a managers job he was alluding to?

Suspect Everton, although given the accuracy of the comment about a manager not improving himself by studying European football - which Cotts did - either the article is inaccurate or SL has been badly briefed.

Maybe take it all as PR spin and just cross our fingers that this latest managerial call will bring us sustained success.

I think Pep was extremely lucky to get the gig before Lee's availability was common knowledge.....an ill wind though as at least Louis v G can sleep tonight,

All hail Guernsey Red the football genius that has delivered the most sought-after coach in Europe to our humble backwater.

We are not worthy

Yes, bizarre comment about not having had someone at the club that has gone and studied European football etc in a long time when that's exactly what SC did.

Agree, either an inaccurate or plain wrong comment.
