Natchlander
Taking partner for her first taste of watching city on the Saturday we play Mk Dons plus a visit to Bletchley Park on the Sunday. Does anyone know of a nice B&B nearby? Close proximity to a proper pub with good selection of ales/cider is essential.
cityexile
Do you want to be within walking distance? Bletchley certainly has some, but is no great shakes as a town. Nowadays a very secondary shopping street. MK itself of course has also the usual chains. If you are after a bit more character, I would suggest one of the bordering older villages that retain some character, maybe Stony Stratford, enjoy the Bull, then the Cock (both a decent selection of real ale) and at the end of the evening come out with your own cock and bull story? About 7 miles away, 10 min drive.
