Flagon
Linked up brilliantly with Wilbraham when they both came on. Their centre halfs were really struggling to contain them I thought. Great to see.
Red Rum
He was a pure nuisance to the Ipswich defence from the minute he came on.
Barrs Court Red
If Johnson can build the lads confidence it will almost be like having a new player this season.
Coppello
I thought he was very good against Charlton as well. I've always thought of him as being unlucky throughout his City career and has never really been given a full chance in the side.
cityexile
Wondered how he might do as a starter out wide, but agree, with him and Wilbs coming on we no longer look like we are hanging on late on.
samo II
Seemed to get to every ball slung up to him, even those he had no right to win, and looks damn sharp for someone who has spent more time watching than playing recently, with the Ipswich keeper dong well to keep him out. The energy he expended closing down every single opposition player in range when they had possession was a big part in us keeping them at arms length for the last ten mins (plus unbelievably long injury time). Top draw, and proved what an asset he is to have, certainly alongside Wilbraham when we are needing to close out games - tremendous game management in injury time from them, Freeman and others; you could see the frustration radiating off the Ipswich players. I still think we need a striker who can nick a goal or two in tight games (like Pitman did), but there clearly is a role for Agard across the rest of the season. Lack of Action Man
Amazing. Loud mouth behind me "he's too light weight isn't he" Two minutes later: "he's had a good game Agard has" Wasn't an Agard fan either last season but today showed exactly how to maximise the use of his skill set. MichaelRobartes
Him and Wilbraham both did really well when they came on. Good use of subs by LJ with Tomlin tiring and Jim not really getting into the game. Good stuff all round.

Gazred
Defended from the front, chased everything and was very unlucky not to score. New manager, fresh chance for him.
Kodjia 22
Agard was superb off the bench today for sure, but it is to be considered that he was fresh legs against a tired pair of Centre halves. Today I thought JK did alot of running and chasing, more than usual. Agard was good but to call for a start is very sudden after a good 20 minutes or so. mattjtsmith
Wasn't on for long at Charlton but immediately looked a danger. So rapid he's hard to handle. I reckon give him a go with Kodjia clearly struggling in the lone role

You're right and I am one of them and the reason for that is for all his hard work he has shown very very little quality. Today when he came on his first touch was excellent, held the ball up well, went past players a few times, looked a different player to me. Looked every bit a championship player today which IMO he rarely has.

Ohbasso
I thought it was an odd decision when LJ made the double sub and switched to a 442 when we were trying to protect a one goal lead, but it proved a master stroke as Agard and Wilbs defended from the front brilliantly which made everyone else's job a lot easier. Between heaven and hell
Agard did well when he came on today, definitely deserves a start next week in place of big Jon
OldlandReddies
yep, he was very good when he came on, changes made at the right time to keep ipswich on back foot and keep their back four occupied.
Northern Red
Considering there were a fair few claiming he wasn't up to it at L1 level last season, he's done alright this year. Looked very sharp today, exactly what was needed against tiring defenders.

I thought he ran the channels well today, countless times gaining us throw-ins in the final 20 yards of the pitch, and the odd free kick. Since Tomlin has arrived, he's also been less selfish, popping it off, knowing he's got a good chance of getting it back. His touch in tight areas a couple of times today was superb. These two will click for goals / assists over the coming games. Agree totally with Agard....it was like his Wolves performance earlier this season. We now have a squad. Who was our number 11 who came on? Waggy!
