Which would you want to see again?

England win the World Cup, or City promoted to the top division in the land (again)?

60s psychedelia or 70s anarchy?

The Beatles "Revolver" or Stevie Wonder's "Songs In The Key of Life"?

Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde" or the Ramones "Ramones"? 13th Floor Elevators or Thin Lizzy?

"Good Vibrations" or "Combine Harvester"?*

Adge or Budd?

Labour government or, er, Labour government?

Gordon Banks, or Ray Cashley? Moore/Merrick? Sir Alf/ Sir Alan?

Beating the Hun or Winning at Arsenal?

Got to be '76, hasn't it?

*Tricky one this. Don't be surprised if you wrestle with this one for a few hours....

nothing special really about city making the prem, expect it to happen at some stage

have no hope of england winning a world cup again

Yeah - not actually sure being in the Premier league is what we REALLY want - imagine all the stupid kick off times because of TV - the rip off price of away tickets etc

Unless you are challenging at the top probably a bit boring being a mid table side

I've been to a couple of big games, went to the Euros in 04 and the atmosphere is electric, the feeling of being their when England win the world cup would be never forgotten and it would be nice to celebrate with the nation, even gasheads!

Jesus, the only decent thing that happened in 1976 was City getting promotion.  Otherwise 1966 wins hand down...
