Or that many people who did actually receive it didn't realise they did (how? It was pretty clear what it was) or were too busy and didn't respond. (It took 2 mins to fill it out)

How would an IT guru legislate for apathy or lack of attention..?

As a fan representative you may want to focus on what BCFC - Bristol Sport are using the data for.

Bristol City / Bristol Sport are forecasting x amount of fans are going leave area x to area y on information that is inaccurate.

Surely it is accurate, based on the limited data set they are working with.

My reply was slightly tongue in cheek, although doesn't change the fact that (going by this thread) a number of people have received the email but not acted upon it.

It seems that almost half the people who have voted in this poll (189 in total have voted at the current count) did not receive this email, which frankly isn't good enough. And that's only for those on OTIB.  The club can't claim to have done this properly which is what I was attempting to highlight.

Unless they are doing statistical sampling.

But why would they when the total population is so small.

FYI: 6,500 emails were sent out across all stands - approximately half of the total number of season ticket holders. The response rate was just over 50%, which is an excellent figure, and gives us a very accurate idea of the thinking of our Season Ticket holders. Thanks to all who participated.  If you feel that we might not have your up to date email address, please log in to your online account using your Supporter ID and make sure that we have your proper contact details.

Why (and this isn't directed at you Dave) only send emails out to half of all season ticket holders?  Why not ask all of us?  That was what I had understood it to be when we were told a survey was going out at the FAN meeting.

Hate to say it, it's a standard business way of doing things

Unless every season ticket holder on email replied there was no point in sending to everyone anyway - just a sample survey

Of course this could be argued that it may embellish the findings, but it is what it is

The Supporters Trust member may be also be asking questions regarding a meeting that took place this week. In the past surveys have included stands/fans as a whole. This one has not. The results in % could be uneven.
