SODDING.

PUBLIC.

WI-FI.

Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Thought I'd posted this about midday yesterday, but clearly the wi-fi in my local beverage retailer decided to scupper me.

At least the number of hours you've now got to predict might reflect the number of goals...

High scoring. High tension. High waisted jeans.

FULHAM 3-3 CITY

(2-0)

1st half

McCormack 9' - Free kick, top corner, some people moan that O'Donnell should've done better and has carried on from his mistake against Wolves, but in reality it was just a perfect free kick and we should all accept that. OK?!

McCormack 32' - After twenty minutes of scrappy play following their opener, a blizzard of crisp one touch passing comes out of nowhere and puts McCormack through one on one. No mistake. My Fulham friend with whom I'll be sitting chuckles and says, repeatedly, "best player in the league, mate, best player in the league".

2nd half

Odemwingie 57' - Solo run, slaloming through the defence, Kodjia calling for it left, Tomlin right, here we are, stuck in the middle with Odemwingie. Chips it delicately over the charging keeper, and the City faithful have a new hero to build up, knock down, make jokes about, dismiss, reclaim, and ultimately agree he was much like most players.

Dembele 62' - Sucker punch. Having dominated for 10 minutes, hit the post twice and been denied a penalty, we get caught on the break and Dembele has the freedom of South West London to dribble around O'Donnell and gleefully slot it home.

Kodjia 79' - Header. Good in the air, is Kodjia.

Bryan 87' - Corner, headed out, falls to Bryan on the edge of the box, feints to shoot with his right, brings it inside the defender, slams it home with his left. Pandemonium in the neutral area.

Dribbles

16 - 8 - 6 - 14

Tomlin

Wildcard

           Charlton 1-3 Middlesbrough

Now I better get going to see just how wrong I am.
