fortune favours the brave

where's the joy

some games live long in the memory. this was one of them

4,000 of us at fulham on saturday, what a racket we made

but the first half was poor, Kodjia and freeman losing the ball in possession and in the laters case no attempt to get the ball back

both players are out of form and confidence, freeman needs to stay on the bench for a while

matthews caught out of position with no cover to help him and their left back running amok

then in the second half bobby reid come on and starts playing like a world beater, never seen the kid turn his man like that before

the tempo, the one touch, the spirit was palpable; and the cider army was in full voice.

before tomlins winner we saw both of our centre backs up for a throw in.

now you can see that matthews throw is as good as a corner but Johnsons liberation of the team to attack at will took all the momentum from fulham

fortune favours the brave and that was a brave performance to come away with 3 points

if thats a taste of what our head coach can do then i can't wait for him to mold his team

We were brave under Cotts, throwing everyone forward. Fortune favours those that recruit well, get their business done early, then go away somewhere (Botswana, say) so the lads can gel. Something like that

Fortune also favours those that don't muck up the equilibrium of the group
