Yes it will be cheaper for the fans but have to think the people who work in admin are cursing at the moment, the amount people will sign up, withdraw and then re sign up when better matches come up will be hell for them. If the benefit is for the fans why not just reduce season ticket prices?

If they have a decent ticket system then it should all be managed online with minimal manual administration

A team like Hull who've had premier league payments etc! Tbf we had a very decent one in ticket master it was removed to get rid of the booking fee

It's interesting to be honest and if successful I can't see why the model isn't picked up elsewhere

be intrested to see the feedback from hull next season

I guess the bonus here for the club is that if you buy a ticket for a particular game you will turn up, and you may well spend money inside the stadium.

When City applied for planning for the stadium refurb, they said that approximately 90% of Season Tickets are used each game, that's quite a lot of empty seats that aren't buying food and drink.

I don't understand how it works?

You pay a monthly - non contractual, fee. You stop and start payments as you please should you wish to have a month off etc?

Oldham have a policy where if you buy a season ticket for next season now they will give you back £50 for every home win between now and the end of the season.  Different to the norm.

They should give back $50 for every defeat, and maybe $10 for a draw.

Presumably that only applies at clubs owned by Yanks?
