The collective name for hedgehogs is array or *****le. FFS it filtered out the word p rickle.

I now have a collection of them on my land and they shall be forever called an Aizoon.

PS:- and this particular Aizoon are driving my Jack Russell mental.

You do know they shit EVERYWHERE, don't you?

Actually, the collective name for hedgehogs is 'mezze'.

Carry on.

...clicked the link and for a minute thought I'd come across new song lyrics from Paul Simon,

He gave us 'Fifty Ways To Leave Your Lover,' seemed possible that

'Seven Ways To Kill A Hedgehog' might be one of his too... ;)

(poor hogs eh? ... some pretty gruesome ends on that list .. for fork sake!)

What is worse for a hedgehog?

Being run-over and killed, or being run-over and not quite killed?

Sorry to ask this at tea-time.

You're right! They do! I've had cafe creme cigar shaped turds on my driveway for a while now and thought it was a fox or cat or some other furry creature but no ...I've been told it's Hedgehogs! ...why do they shit so much??

Because they eat so many slugs, obviously. I like the idea of an "Aizoon of hedgehogs", BTW.

Aizoon graciously grants his permission.

Flea ridden little buggers, best hose the dog down before you let him in the house.

Don't get me wrong I'm a big hog fan and like to see them ,I just didn't realise they shat so much...although on a diet of slugs and other iglies it's hardly surprising .

To be fair they have that affect on me too.

This is true, luckily after every excursion around the garden Mrs Bung scrupulously checks him, if has been hodger bothering the fleas are usually around his face, he is slowly getting the message, hedgehog bothering = bath time.

A pretty good disincentive, I'd have thought.
