Reds2016
Sorry if this has been mentioned already. Watching goals on Sunday, noticed he's got a slight West Country twang. Found out He was born in Bristol and raised in clevedon. But started his professional career at Birmingham City. One that's gone under the radar! not saying all local lads should be playing for City or Rovers. Looks like he's becoming a great prem goal keeper. brizzlelou
If I'm not mistaken he is actually a city fan. I could've sworn I heard that somewhere in an interview.
Ivorguy
Happy with O'Donnell. Good keeper but a real enthusiast. Will be a City hero for seasons to come. Enthusiasm may not be everything but it is heartening to see. RO'D for England !

CITYAREREDANDWHITE
Butland was playing for North Somerset Schools when City were heavily scouting this set up. Really was one that got away.
screech
Southampton of all clubs picked up Alan Shearer from under the noses of Newcastle. I expect it will happen even more now the bigger Premier League clubs can pretty much vacuum up any young kid that shows a bit of promise, pay them a kings ransom without even being anywhere near the first team. How can you compete with that.
alexukhc
Didn't someone before state on here that we had him on trial? but we didn't think he was big enough to make the grade

Butland is obviously the better keeper though.

Reds2016
Never said anything against Odonnell, he's a great keeper for us. Just wondering how he escaped the eye of our scouts. And no not depressing, we have some other great youngsters e.g Joe Bryan
