Signing Tomlin could mean we hold onto our best players and could attract good signings. And his contribution on the pitch speaks for itself. Quote Link to comment

Think it is more a case of what the the top end SL is willing to pay. Not sure how long is left on his contract, and I am sure his agent will be looking around, maybe other bottom end premier sides? Is a huge outlay on one player in trying to build a balanced squad for next year, and may close down other options, assuming we have a fixed fighting fund for transfers.
