cityexile
Nicked this from elsewhere, but might be worth sharing; Confirmed Aston Villa Birmingham City Blackburn Rovers Brentford Bristol City Cardiff City Fulham Huddersfield Ipswich Town Leeds Utd Nottm Forest Preston QPR Reading Rotherham Wigan Wolves They will be joined by Three from Burnley Brighton Middlesbrough Hull Derby Sheff Weds With the other three being promoted. Two of Burnley, Brighton and Boro will definitely go up Also two from Crystal Palace* Newcastle Norwich Sunderland Would be extreme set of results to see Palace go down. And finally two from Burton** Walsall** Millwall Bradford Gillingham S****horpe Barnsley ** One of Burton or Walsall will definitely be promoted. Most likely Burton who are three points clear of Walsall.
cityexile
Well did not expect Burnley to get promoted today, but with Brighton slipping up, Burnley just did enough and up they go. First change then! My OCD I am afraid is not going to allow me to update it until it falls under the 'mathematical certainty' heading - and on this one it is only three better - Walsall win by two Burton lose by one, it's Walsall that go up as they have scored a fair few more. I think it'll be a very tough division again next season with Villa and two from Sunderland/Newcastle/Norwich. Can see Wigan being reasonable but I think Burton will struggle. reddogkev
I'm sure Newcastle will survive now, which is a massive shame as that's one of our guaranteed home sell-outs potentially gone. City will finish top 8 next season.

They must be kicking themselves that they didn't appoint Rafa a few games earlier. Top 8 - that's very positive thinking! I think I'll wait and see what the summer brings before making any predictions!

eardun
Looking at that list reinforces why I enjoy the Championship so much. Happy if we consolidate and gradually improve in this Division (like we did in the 70s) - no rush to get to the Premier League. However, promotion in 2020 - 40 years after we left the top division - has a nice ring to it! Taking 65 years like last time would be a bit too long! samo II
Gonna be bold and say Sunderland to survive, Hull to get up via the playoffs, and Barnsley to do so the same from League One. Will certainly make for some interesting match ups next year.
