"It would certainly serve to eradicate the ridiculousness of having to travel from Bristol to Carlisle on an Easter Monday or from Bristol to Hartlepool on a Tuesday night. "I'd have the winner of each regionalised league going into the Championship and then eight teams from both divisions playing off for the final two places. "If you really want to shake things up – and I'm aware that it is never likely to happen – you could relegate six teams from the Championship.
