Fiale
Bristol City have announced Adam El-Abd has left the club by mutual consent. El-Abd only made 20 appearances since joining the club in 2014 and spent the last campaign on loan with League One teams Swindon and Gillingham. His last appearance for the Robins came in November 2014 and he departs Ashton Gate despite having 12 months left on his deal. A statement on the club's website read: "El-Abd, 31, has found opportunities hard to come by and has agreed a settlement package which will see him leave the club this summer. "Everybody at Bristol City FC would like to thank Adam for his professionalism and wish him all the best in his future career."

Lrrr
Should hopefully free up some wages, but 20 appearances at how much per week he was with us? Imagine that's been quite expensive for us.
Up The City!
Thought he would have been a decent signing for us. Sadly it didn't turn out that way for whatever reason.
Dr Balls
So long, adieu, auf weidersehn, goodbye.... This departure has been a long time coming, in the same way as Nicky Hunt before him. From what we saw of him, it's incredible to think that he was the central defensive rock of Brighton for so long. Always looked like a yellow card and an opposition goal waiting to happen for us. Obviously has been playing in a lower division for most of the last 18 months, so perhaps some newly promoted League 1 team might like him.... WolfOfWestStreet
He wasn't a muppet. Just played in a team rock bottom and lacked confidence. Never got back in, still he never said a bad word about anybody and always clapped the fans even though it must have been hard for him on the sidelines. Good luck Adam I know your a top pro and you showed it, shame it didn't work for you here.
