I'm going with this one, though I could easily see Brownhill or Ried in for either Bryan or O'Dowda. Or both perhaps

And I'll also add  He caveat that I fully expect another player or two (other than Matthews, who seems to be nailed on) to arrive prior to Wigan, so they could be in there too

So in summary, I agree with this team projection 100%, other than possibly 4 or 5 changes that could be made

With you too, unless we sign an experienced centre back to start, which I think it unlikely.

Not sure how fit Korey is yet...might take a few weeks before he starts.

Bench: O'Leary, Ayling, Vyner, Reid, Brownhill, Freeman or Agard, Wilbraham.  Would be a real sign of Freeman's decline if he doesn't make match day squad.  Really hoped he'd come back from pre-season an inspired player.

This is how I see it as well. It will be interesting to see how O'Dowda adapts to Championship football. Presumably him and Freeman are in direct competition for that spot.

You should all be including O'Brownhill. And in time, you'll understand.

Small correction made Whitey if he's to fit in the team.

Hope Joe Bryan isn't seen as a left back as he is probably the best crosser of the ball at the club.

That's why I would pick him on the left wing.

Didn't Joe start out as a full back?

Unless any more new faces arrive in the next week or we get any injuries that would be my guess, too.

The only area of doubt for me is that Reid may possibly have a chance of starting instead of Brownhill, but I think that Golbourne playing in the Bath game instead of at Cheltenham suggests that Joe Bryan will be the left back.

Personally I think he should. He is the most athletic player in our squad and more than capable of bombing up and down so he will still work positions for delivering good crosses.

Pack and O'Neil will be in place to cover and will sit.

Joe needs to make a position his own and with the improved squad will have a chance to do so instead of the need is must last season.

He is a wing-back and not a left midfielder and will have ample chance to prove this season. Golbourne will play second fiddle IMHO
