No, don't do this except as a very last resort.  If you haven't cancelled by unsubscribing then you'll still have to pay for it even if you have cancelled your DD.

As I've been waiting over a month for Bristol Sport to reset my password so I can buy a membership I would say phone them up as a first option then you'll know that your request hasn't just gone into some IT black hole.
