Ginsters based in Callington, Cornwall, and sited just 4 miles from Devon border so that they could call their product "Cornish" pasties. Probably most workers there live in South Devon. Geoffrey Ginster a local farmer from Callington started the business in 1967, I would say that gave them good reason to call them Cornish pasties! Probably most workers there live in South Devon. Callington is my local town & I can confirm that it's the biggest employer in the area and most, if not all of the workers live locally in Cornwall. They couldn't afford the houses in Devon anyway. Even the MD lives nearby on the Cornish side of the border. They are Plymouth's shirt sponsor this season, so looks like they're increasing their sports sponsorship massively this year. Shit pasties though
